The San Buenaventura Mission is an active Catholic Parish in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. The entrance is between Grant Memorial Park and Promenade Park, near Freeway 101. The Mission was the last of nine established by Junipero Serra, and features a renovated interior, garden, and belltower, while preserving its history in its on-site museum.
