Picturesque views of the Pacific coastline, recreational activities for families, and restaurants serving cuisine from around the world typify Ventura Harbor Village. The promenade holds a beautifully decorated 36-horse carousel and the visitors center for the Channel Islands National Park, complete with educational displays and video. Visitors can participate in a number of water-based recreational activities starting at the village, including fishing, diving, surfing and kayaking. Located on Pierpont Bay, west of the Olivas Park Golf Course, the village surrounds Ventura Harbor to the south of the city.
